Former prime minister Tony Blair said Jeremy Corbyn should avoid the 'elephant trap' of a general election before the UK's departure from the EU is resolved. Blair said Boris Johnson and fellow pro-Brexit government members were trying to make it appear as if the opposition is pushing them towards an election while actively preparing for one
