Jersey Shore's Jenni 'JWoww' Farley Celebrates Her Belated Birthday with an Epic Surprise Party

Better late than never! Jenni “JWoww” Farley turned 34 last week — but she didn’t get to truly ring in the big day until Saturday, when her PR team and Jersey Shore castmates surprised her with an epic belated birthday bash that began at Martorano’s at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City and finished at Harrah’s Resort’s famous The Pool After Dark. Costars Deena Cortese, Angelina Pivarnick, Vinny Guadagnino and Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio were all in attendance, and DelVecchio even hit the turntables to DJ the first 2019 date of his residency. Also present for the bash was Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino‘s wife Lauren. In addition to documenting the night’s festivities on her Instagram Story, Farley also expressed her gratitude alongside a few sweet videos from the night — including the exact moment she realized her friends had surprised her. “I am still in shock I feel so special! Shout out to @illuminationpr and @djpaulyd for the ultimate surprise party & @harrahsresort #martoranosac for making it such a great night and everyone for coming ,” she wrote. The star found a silly way to comment on her friend’s absence, sharing a variety of clips and photos of herself posing alongside a cutout of Polizzi’s head. “Missing my number one @snooki,” she wrote alongside one snap, adding, “It’s ok tho cuz she’s carrying my baby.” Farley’s birthday comes on the heel of a challenging six months. In September, the MTV star filed for divorce from husband Roger Mathews after almost three years of marriage, and in October, their 2½-year-old son Greyson Valor was diagnosed with autism. Farley has since joined the board of KultureCity, a nonprofit dedicated to building inclusion for people with autism. She recently told PEOPLE the organization has not only changed her son’s life by building a sensory room for him in her house, but has also become a huge part of her own support system. “When it comes to educating myself so I feel less alone, they help me in that aspect,” she said. “Every time I’m feeling down or alone, I hit up KultureCity and I’m like, ‘What can we do to make someone’s life better?’ Because it makes mine better.” “That’s where giving back really has helped,” she added. “Because not only do I not feel alone anymore in my struggle, but I get a flood of messages telling me how I’ve helped them or opened their eyes or showed them things that they weren’t aware of. That’s really what it’s all about.” RELATED: Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s 2-Year-Old Son Diagnosed with Autism — What to Know About the Early Signs Farley and Mathews are also parents to Meilani Alexandra, 4½, and the mother-daughter duo celebrated Farley’s actual birthday on Feb. 27 at Disneyland in Orlando, Florida. “Spending my 34th with my princess,” she captioned a selfie of the two at the time. “Can’t wait for bubby to be old enough to appreciate @waltdisneyworld like we do… because I want to spend every birthday here #dontevergrowup.” View this post on Instagram Spending my 34th with my princess can’t wait for bubby to be old enough to appreciate @waltdisneyworld like we do… because I want to spend every birthday here #dontevergrowup A post shared by Jenni JWOWW (@jwoww) on Feb 27, 2019 at 4:16am PST //www.instagram.com/embed.js Farley told PEOPLE that bringing Meilani on special trips, often to Disneyland, helps make sure her daughter is showered with love while Greyson receives all the help he needs. (He has been in early intervention therapy since his diagnosis and sees four or five specialists on a weekly basis. ) “Greyson, on a daily basis, has a lot going on,” she said. “He has a lot of people coming to the house and he gets a lot of attention. And I can understand that being the first child she’s kind of like, ‘Well, why does he get all this attention?’ ” “So I have her in gymnastics and dance and I’m really trying to make sure that she gets her own attention. But because Bubby isn’t old enough or equipped on vacations, we have our girl time,” she explained. “So she understands that Bubby might get a little extra help and push every day, but she gets one-on-one time, too. I always try to make sure that I’m there for her gymnastics and dance. I get a babysitter that watches Grey so that it’s just Mommy, front and center.”
