New Governors Appointed In 5 States; Arif Khan Who Quit Rajiv Gandhi Govt Appointed In Kerala

A total of five governors have been appointed by President Ram Nath Kovind . Former Union minister Arif Mohammed Khan, known for his support of the Modi government's propositions to bring reform in the Muslim community, has been appointed the governor of Kerala. Himachal Pradesh Governor Kalraj Mishra has replaced Kalyan Singh as the Rajasthan Governor.
Tamil Nadu BJP president Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has been appointed as the Governor of Telangana, replacing ESL Narasimhan.
Bhagat Singh Koshyari has been appointed as the new Governor of Maharashtra. Koshyari will replace Vidyasagar Rao.
